The fall season always brings me joy. I’m not sure if it’s the smell of crisp leaves in the air, new beginnings, warm sweaters or fresh apple fritters, but I’m always happy when autumn arrives. This year I’m sharing some simple fall decorating ideas that are budget-friendly and add a touch of elegance to your decor.
The front door wreath is a Lotus Pod, Acorn & Berry Wreath.

While on a trip to Amish Country, I purchased a few new items to go with some of my older favorites. This beautiful cloche was one of them. When I first heard the word cloche, I wondered where the word came from. Well, it is actually French and it means “bell”.
It’s a clear cover or dome that is used for forcing or protecting small plants from frost. Of course, in this instance, it’s purely decorative. While I don’t have an exact link for the one I purchased, there are some cute alternatives here.

This is the easiest mantel decor I have ever put together. All of these pretty pumpkins, sunflowers and greenery were purchased to make a fall wreath. But, after pulling out my wreaths from last year, I decided to use one of my older favorites and return these floral picks. I’m so glad I decided to see if they would work somewhere else in my decor. They make a lovely mantel display that’s simple to put together.

This is a perfect addition for under a picture or mirror already in place on your over-mantel and it literally took about 5 minutes to arrange. I just bent the stems on a 90 degree angle and arranged them along the mantel ledge. I purchased all of the greenery, pumpkins and sunflowers here. The beautiful candlesticks can be found here. The barn doors were one of my hand made creations.

This focal wall in my living room is coming together nicely. It has an air of French Country with some rustic touches here and there. I wanted something original in this space that serves as a conversation starter. I feel like the barn doors throw off the elegance of the damask wall stencil just enough.

These ceramic pears were another find from my trip. I love the crackle texture on them and their simplicity. I found a very similar item here.

This is just a cute collection of pumpkins I’ve gathered over the years from different places. I purchased the lanterns several years ago, but I found some similar ones I like here.

There’s nothing that says fall, like beautiful natural wheat. I love its golden color and crisp texture. In fact, I love it so much that I added it to my dining area, too.
Light, muted orange is popular this year. The best name online I could find to describe it is Persian Orange. It adds a soft pop of color to the neutral tones in my home without being too loud. The pretty wreaths on my hutch can be found here.

I’ve also been crafting quite a bit this year. I created some gorgeous yarn pumpkins to help fill up my dough bowl. They’re so easy to make and I love the warmth and texture they add to my dining table. The beautiful wood dough bowl is available here.

I also created some leaf prints from ink refills for my entryway. You can find the full tutorial here. I found the frames here and the black and white pillows here.

I’m so glad you stopped by. Tell me what are some of your favorite fall decor items and traditions? Is there one thing you will never part with? I get sentimental about things that bring back memories of my children when they were little.
